This group runs during term times only, when it meets in the church hall each Wednesday from 9:30am to 11:00am.
The group is run by a team of helpers drawn from the group members and the Church, and caters for the carers of young children whose ages range from 2 years to 3 years plus. Beyond the age of 3 years the children tend to move on to nursery education.
The aim of the group is to provide a safe, friendly and welcoming environment where the carers of young children can meet for a chat and a chance to socialise, whilst at the same time providing enjoyable play activities for the children. The children can also begin to mix with people outside their immediate family circle.
The cost per session is £1.20, which includes refreshments, and there is an informal pram service once a month.
