The Choir of St Augustines is the only traditional, robed, all male choir in Luton.   Choristers join at the age of about 8 years and receive a good musical and Christian education as well as the opportunity to learn to play the piano or organ.   Pocket money is paid monthly with extra fees for weddings.

Choir Practices are on Wednesdays from 6.15pm to 7.00pm (boys only) and on Fridays from 7.30pm to 8.30pm (full choir).

The choir sings at the 9.15 service every Sunday and Choral Evensong at 6.30pm on the first Sunday of each month.  An anthem is sung by the choir at each service with music ranging from the 16th century to the present day.

The boys meet on Fridays at 6.15pm for the Choir Club which runs until choir practice starts and continues afterwards until 9.00pm.  The club is run by Parents and the Organist, but mainly by the boys themselves.  The social side of the choir is very important and includes a Summer Outing and Christmas Party.   Additionally, the choir sing at other Churches, Concerts and Carol Singing.

If you are interested in joining our choir, you can contact us by e:mail, or speak to the Organist after the service.
